Klockner-Moeller PLC Systems

We have extensive experience in upgrading older Klockner-Moeller systems to the current Moeller Electric range.
Most upgrades require very little machine down time as the conversion is performed in three phases:

  1. An initial visit to site to survey the installation and extract or retrieve the existing software.
  2. Conversion of the software and testing in the new system, performed at our North Carolina office.
  3. Return visit to site to install and commission the new equipment.

PS 416

Rack based systems with 16 point I/O cards. The PS416 occupies the same form factor so its fits exactly into the space vacated by the older system. It is necessary to have the source code for existing PS316 systems.

 

PS3

PS4-101/141/151/201/271/341 

An easy upgrade to 'workhorse' PS3. The PS4 is a similar shape and size unit, available in AC and DC power versions. The program is converted to IEC 1131 compliant S40

 

PS21 and PS31

PS4-101/141/151/201/271/341

Manual conversion required but usually straightforward. The PS4 range is a different shape to the PS21/31, but this presents no problem as it is also much smaller

 

PS32

PS 416

Not an easy upgrade since the PS32 had 32 point, full size I/O modules and used double word math's. Also most PS32 systems use Suconet to connect to various PS3s, MMIs and other networked devices. Each conversion needs careful assessment before work can start. Please contact us to discuss your requirements

MI4 – Text Operator Panel with Graphic Capability

The MI4 text operator panels are designed for simple and economical machine operation, offering a range of different displays and different numbers of function keys according to the information and operating requirements at hand.

The innovative feature is the ability to represent pictograms, logos and diagrams.
